Pretty easy, but thats what confused me!
x = 3/4*x - 5
3/4x - x = 5
x= -20
Wasn't me Knightmare, some other clever Anon posted the -20. But I confirm that is the right answer.

3(3*.25)-5
(3*.75)-5
2.25-5
-2.75
