Time to Check the Antifreeze?
Your vehicle has a radiator with a 21-quart capacity. It is filled with an 18-percent alchohol solution. How many quarts must you remove, to add enough 90-percent alchohol solution, such that the resulting solution contains 42-percent alchohol?

7 quarts.
Let R be the capacity of the radiator and A be the required amount
of the new anti-freeze, and is the same as the volume of the
mixture we must remove from the radiator.
Require 18(R-A) + 90A = 42R => 72A = 24R => A = R/3.
But R = 21, so A = 7 quarts.
That's correct ... too easy for you
