Trick of Mind >>> be informed

Ok the title is not exactly this puzzle. I found out it is not easy to make up a puzzle like this that makes sense. I want to say something like GREAT, but that didn't work out.

TRICK + OF + MIND = INFORM

Each letter in the sum above represents a different digit.

Hint: There are two different solutions
K and D can swap value, and the equation remains true.
Also the first code of a "word" will not be zero.
Can you crack the code?

If this is to hard, then do this one.

Two sentences were directly copied from a previous ToM. Which two.

Ha, Ha, Zaux,

I am glad you remembered, or did you have to look back to Jan 5th to check?

I did not look back ... I remembered ... I think that was one of my puzzle posts ... wasn't it?

Right, Baffling Numbers, Jan 5.

These are more difficult to create than to solve, if you want something reasonable in the words.

We were discussing Jimi Hendrix and the effect his creativity had on rock music.

Very Good Wiz,

Reckon, someone else can now deduce the second equation? Everything is on the table to see it.

I was unable to find a second solution. Maybe someone can spot my error:

i=1, t=9, and n=0. o= either 2 or 3. There are 35 combinations of k+f+d=m using only the digits 2-8. Of those, 26 have m= a summand or 0, 9, or 1, or use both 2 and 3. The remaining 9 (257=14, 267=15, 356=14, 368=17, 358=16, 348=15, 457=16, 458=17, 567=18) can be checked to see if the remaining 3 digits (c, o, r) an have two add together, + 1, to equal the third. If so, them see if r + m = one of the k, f, or d digits). Only 358=16 works. That produces Wiz's answer (you can switch the 8 and 5, as you said).

solutions:

1. 97148 + 23 + 6105 = 103276

2. 97145 + 23 + 6108 = 103276

The two keys are almost identical
