x^26 - (a+b+c+...+z)x^25 + a whole heap of other stuff + a*b*c*...*z
0
it is 0:
eventually you get (x-x) which is 0, if you times anything by 0 the answer is 0
I agree.. The answer is 0.
I would agree that as soon as (x-x) appears the result would go to zero... If indeed the "(x-a)x("
really means "(x-a)*(".
To use x as both a variable and a times symbol in the same equation is terribly confusing.
whether x is the variable x of * it wudnt matter, the answer is still 0

yes... the answer is 0
i won't use x as times symbol again
sorry Ragknot-didn't meam to confuse you(or did i?)
Knightmare
It only confused me for a second. I was trying to figure out if it was a trick.
But I didn't figure it out. I was only agreeing with someone else who mentioned it first. The 3rd comment.
x(x-e)x(x-f)x(x-g)x(x-h)x(x-i)x(x-j)x(x-k)x(x-l)x(x-m)x(x-n)x(x-o)x(x-p)x(xq)x(x-r)x(x-s)x(x-t)x(x-u)x(x-v)x(x-w)x(x-x)x(x-y)
and that is what is missing
the aswer is 0 because anything times 0 = 0
x-factor? hmmm....
well i'd have to brush up on my comics but im pretty sure that x-men comes first
it is 0
