Snow and Bang
A man is looking out the windows of his home he see's that everything outside is covered with snow. He goes out of the room to tend to something more important. After a while he hears a loud bang, runs to the window and see's that all the snow has melted. What happened?

The bang was a rip in the time space continuum thingy and he returned to the window a couple of months later, in the spring.
ps I dont care if the sci-fi nerds say that the rip would not make a noise or that it has something to do with 42 or Adams.
I'm right
some one farted next to some one lighting a ciggie, he had a curry the night before .....
A simple and nice lightning!
atomic bomb
how can it be a atomic bomb it would blow him up too
so we now know its not an explosion so i think when he left the window everyone got matches out of their pockets and melted all the snow
the bang was somone lobing a stone at the window
i didnt work this out or something like that it was just a wild guess
hope its right
I believe that the bang he heard was thunder.
It had been raining outside, then the rain would have melted all the snow, and then thunder boomed and he saw all the snow was gone.
Best I could come up with.
The mans house was on a semi-tractor/trailer. He was riding in it back to his property after purchasing it in Minnesota in late October (snow). The bang he heard was the movers dropping his house on his property in Oklahoma(no snow). It is only a 18 hour drive.
Atomic Bomb.
it couldnt have been rain. if it was it would freeze and turn into more snow
FORGET THE BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the "man" is acually a bear. he looks out of his cave to see that its winter. he walks deeper into the cave for hibernation. he hears the bang in his dream, waking him up. he walks out of his cave to see its spring.
its the best thing i could think of.
mabye there was a white guy dressed in white cleaning his windows so he thought every thing was covered in snow.... and the bang was him falling of the second story window?
Actually, I agree with the guy who said rain. It could be raining (above freezing temp for the person who disagreed) it would melt and wash all the snow away. The bang would have been thunder. All though usually thunder storms occur when there is more heat outside.
He went away from the window and a dragon came and caught everything on fire, and the bang was a hunter who shot the dragon who then ate the hunter but flew away to heal...or he was dreaming idk.
he could be dreaming. when are we going to know the answer?
I agree with the person that said it was thunder, and that it was raining and all the snow had melted away.
The man was living in a snow globe that fell off the table and broke, spilling all the snow.
Actually, in the Southeastern U.S. this is fairly common. Nighttime snowfall can melt within a couple hours of daylight. The 'bang' could've been anything, never said IT was why the snow melted. Nor did it state how long a 'while' the fellow was gone.
That can't be it. The man would die too. I think saiz is right.
Oh, and I was talking to Joshua in my last post.
So what is the right answer Rain
whaddaya mean by that?
.....the house belonged to a director that thought it brilliant to film a movie at his own house. He leaves the room to tend to some third-rate "actor's crisis". the director runs to the other room to find that the loud bang was the falling of the winter back-drop leaving the next season’s back-drop to be shot in its place!!....
.... Ta-he-he-he... :-P
The answer is:
"A man is looking out the windows of his home he see's that everything outside is covered with snow. He goes out of the room to tend to something more important. After a while he hears a loud bang, runs to the window and see's that all the snow has melted."
It didn't ask "HOW" the snow melted, it just asked "What Happend?", which was already explained..
lol
Napalm Bomb, Vietnam style
What happened? Global warmin' , that's what happened. The bang was a car backfiring spewing carbon dioxide and destroying the O-zone layer. Sad but true.
An inconvent Tom.
how would it happen so fast?
Who said it was fast?
It was Rip Van Wrinkle. He took and nap and looked out the window again.... 20 years later.
a meoteorite struck his area
He woke up from a dream.
WHEN ARE WE GOING TO KNOW THE ANSWER?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Seriously, it's been way over a week.
I think that people who fail to post the answer within a week, should be banned from ever posting another post.
There was only 1\2 an inch of snow. The sun came out and melted the snow within an hour.
it was a volcano
i agree. rip van winkle...20 yrs later in the spring
Ladies and Gentleme, I do believe BowlingTracker has it right. The question is not how it happened, but what happened. Don't think so hard. It melted, plain and simple. It's like the plain crash question about where to burry the survivors.
The window was covered in ice. When he first looked through it, it looked like everything was covered in snow, when in reality it was just the window. When the ice on the window starts to melt, it falls off the window, making a large bang.
