Well if he is flying an aeroplane, then he is also in a pool. I noticed that the content of the pool was not there so it may be AIR(well it is a fluid).
So maybe he meant he is swiming in a pool of air???
Im just trying to thinking in a different angle thats all.

Maybe his fried has bet him that he cant fly a plane. others bet and as he is flying a plane he wins the pool and swimming in the money.

Perhaps he is a Director of Operations (DO) for an airline.
Bureacraticly speaking, all airline flight operations are under the direct authorization and "control" of the airline's D.O. The D.O. then deligates the flying, dispatch and maitenance functions to the various employees. So, in a sense, every airline flight is by the authorization and under the "control" of the D.O.; no matter where he/she might be.
Airline D.O.'s can usually be found lounging indolently by the pool...

well thats retarded if you think about it the controls for the remote plane would not work underwater a better answer is that he is doing this on two different days at the same time of day
