Lying Taxi Driver
A man got into a taxi fare.
The driver asked where he was going and he told the driver his destination.
The driver started to drive.
The man immediately started to talk about his day and what happened.
After many red lights and many blocks past by, the man was still talking.
As time passed on, the driver realized that the man won't shut up.
So, irritated, he said, "I'm sorry, sir, I cannot hear anything you're saying because I have a very bad ear and I need my ear aid. But I forgot it today and I'm pretty much deaf without my ear aid." just to shut him up.
So then the man kept quiet for the rest of the ride.
When they arrived at the man's destination, the man paid for the fare and got off.
But after few minutes, he realized that the driver was lying to him about his ear and that the driver could hear him all along.
How did he know??

The radio was on, and if the driver can not hear what is the point of it being on?
The driver heard where he wanted to go and drove to the right place.
destination
Because the driver understood where to take the passenger. Thus his hearing was sufficient.

okay so the first guy is dumb there is nothing in the story about a radio... and yes its cuz the destination was correct so he had to hear him say it
the driver could lip read
Because he told the guy to shut up?
Also te destination thing.
If he couldnt hear how did he know where the guy wanted to go and how did he know he was talking and wouldnt shut upin the first place
He raises his voice over the sound outside thus proving that he can hear because if there wasn't anynoise outside he wouldn't have known to raise his voice

The first answer that came up in my mind after reading the query is that the taxi driver stopped after dropping this man and hearing another one say ` taxi `.....another possibility is that when paying the fare the passenger must have asked for change or asked how much the fare was and the taxi driver must have replies instantaniously....In his defence the taxi driver could have been lip reading the passenger to know his destination....i hope i am right !!!
Because he hear the man's destination and can bring him to right place
he realised the driver had crossed his fingers
taxi driver dorped him the right place
The man told the driver his destination.
The driver heard and drove to the right place.
Easy.
he knew because the driver had to of heard where the man wanted to go... so he heard right and arrived at the man's destination!! <3
he knew where to go
Why do people keep posting the same answer after it's already been answered??? It's really unessesary. . .
Obviously he knew because how would the taxi driver know that the man was talking AT ALL if his hearing was bad? If he was not lying, he wouldn't have said anything! And yes, the destination answer thing is correct as well.
he wouldn't have known that the person spoke in the first place
he wouldn't have known that the person spoke in the first place
the driver could have never heard him give the payers directions
He knew the destination.
he knew where to go. Duh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
