It is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius, the Age of Aquarius....
Aquarius!
It happens a couple of times a month
On an astrological scale it really wouldn't align.. It only seems to cause of our confined view.

The particular events are oddly, occuring now. They began last month, Dec 2008. The first day of Aquarius starts on the first full day of Obama's presidency.

this is the dawning of the age of Aquarius, ... harmony and understanding sympathy and trust abounding no more falsehoods or derisions golden living dreams of visions mystic crystals revelations
and the minds true liberation

then peace will guide the planets
and love will steer the stars
this is the dawning of the age of Aquarius

Yes, this is lyrics to an obnoxious song from 1969. Mars in alighnment or conjunct (technical term) Jupiter is a rare occurance, which will begin on January 30th this month. They will go in and out of conjunction for the next year or so, and then not again for a long time. The moon in the seventh house is something that occures everyday at a certain time (the moon travels through all 12 houses in the course of a 24 hour day. Today, the moon was in the seventh house at around noon. This is a constantly changing thing; in a couple weeks, the moon will be in the 11th house at noon. The writers of this song didn't know a thing about astrology, or maybe they did, and couldn't think of anything that rhymed properly.

We measure our global sense of both space (latitude and longitude) and time (universal time - UT or GMT) from the prime meridian located at Greenwich, England.
